From the moth archive

I tend to think that all my old photos were rubbish. Possibly this is because I am aware that I have learned a lot in recent months thanks to some great feedback and guidance from others. I have also had more time to invest in my hobby. However it is evident that occasionally I did take shots I still like today. However my ability to process half decently has risen so I can hopefully produce a nicer finish to an image than I could when this one was originally shot in August 2008. See what you think of this rather gaudy diurnal lep.

Ok, it is not going to win any prizes but I find the colours have a good impact against the green background and the plants are quite attractive in their own right. Note to self – must go back to the same location again this year!
