The ultimate in bicycle locks………..

I think the owner of this bicycle may be a touch paranoid. I noticed the velocipede chained to an anchor this morning. I am pretty sure nobody will run off with it but the owner may also struggle to go very far. Safe but impractical would be my assessment.

  1. Well I never thought I’d discover Andrew in error. But that’s not a velocipede. It does have a nice little basket for carrying a small chain. A fascinating photograph. I wonder if the owner wears both a belt and braces.

I think his bicycle is secure unless a scrape y’all dealer with large front end loader comes on the scene.

    Nice monochrome feel.

  2. The Oxford English Dictionery on line says : Velocipede
an early form of bicycle propelled by working pedals on cranks fitted to the front axle.
    US a child’s tricycle.
    Maybe I’m the crank 🙂

I'd be delighted to hear what you think
