  1. I like this one a lot. A simple uncluttered scene for what appears to be an uncluttered man with just a cane for a prop. The color of the building complements his dark jacket. Yes, I studied this pic for a bit and find it most interesting. I’m fairly certain that he did not look for a trash can. It was the bench where he wanted to sit and “basque in the sun.” ๐Ÿ™‚ Great title from you, Andrew.

  2. Pity he has nothing to throw into the garbage bin: if I remember correctly, they weren’t all that frequently seen in Barรงa. But then, who am I to mention it? – in Sydney you find a publish rubbish receptacle about twice every 3 kilometres. Roughly. Sometimes less. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

    • Plenty of rubbish bins, M.R. Most common sight in the last 24 hours has been police. There was some sort of alarm last night and we got caught up in it. Later we saw policemen posing with tourists so I guess it wasn’t that serious but their presence is reassuring.

      • I remember that we were fascinated by the way a cop car came down a 1-way street the wrong way and stopped; the cop went away leaving it there. By the time he returned about 20′ later, there was a queue of about 10 cars facing him. No-one blew a horn, even ! He just got in and backed out. Stringer and I were falling about … ๐Ÿ™‚

I'd be delighted to hear what you think
