Cinereous Tit

Taken in the back garden, a nice profile shot but the hot-bright area of the branch spoils it for me.

  1. It’s a lovely shot, Andrew. Did you try creating a layer and painting with a very thin opacity brush of the upper illuminated branch color to reduce the heat? It looks as though there is enough detail there to work with.

  2. You’re too critical. It’s called the sun! 🌞
Chickadees are a fav of mine. They have been at my window all year working hard to hide all the seeds I give them for the winter. All that hard work.. they will be surprised when I leave seed through the winter.

  3. Very fine clarity in this and the composition is very nice. When I look at it as a larger image I find nothing to annoy me about the highlighted spot on the branch. As others have noted ‘lovely plumage’.

I'd be delighted to hear what you think
