Caught red-handed. Cat’ burglar.

The lawn is in demand. Not only it was a hiding place for the moth it has also been the scene of a hit and run this afternoon. Without the run.

I saw this Olive-backed Pipit out the front, partially obscured by the fence. But there was no mistaking the act of theft – one of my caterpillars was gobbled up right in front of me. The brazen effrontery of the bird. Nobody looking – quick. Grab it.OBPfeedingWhat was that?OBP2Who me? Honest guv. I only took it for a lark!OBP3
