This gentleman I now know is Ron Burgess. He is a popular figure around Winchester and he loves to dance. I caught him this morning by a busking saxophonist.
What a wonderful image of this chap. I wonder what his story is and I bet it’s a life of hardship, sorrow, and his stiff upper lip. Synthesized happiness!
What a delightful portrait, Andrew! I’m surprised that all kinds of watchers–especially the very young and the old–aren’t dancing with him on the sidewalk. Such a celebration of energy and attitude.

No idea Barry but he seemed to be having fun.
We should all dance. Fancy a Fox trot. ,Andrew?
Foxtrot Oscar, Gerard. I don’t dance ๐ ๐ ๐
Both a wonderful human moment – and a super reflection in the shop window, Andrew! Love it!
He’s a Winchester treasure.
What a happy face!
Happy Feet?

It’s real and vivid, as only B&W can be. Love this.
Fantastico, che voglia di vita che ha questo signore. Bello scatto.
Ciao, Pat
Mr.Burgess looks as if he knows how to live a happy life. I say, good for him. We should all aspire to his degree of happiness. He is quite a showman.
He’s got a lot more life in him than most of us. Good for him.
What a character!
